<colin.hodge> Hi everyone - we’re starting a community of *developers, entrepreneurs, hackers, activists,* and others who are tired of feeling helpless when it comes to *human rights & freedoms in Asia*. Our team member <@U01PDQ4DXUM> mentioned us a bit before, too.
We took g0v’s projects as an inspiration and would LOVE for some of you to join the conversation with us!
One area that we see potential is with products that make it easier for regular people to have an impact with their purchases, by steering a cohesive group toward better behaving companies. Perhaps we can organize a brainstorm & hackathon around this to bring people together…
We have an upcoming in-person event (Taipei) to get to know the community on Apr 21, as well as discuss the boycotts related to Xinjiang. We have a famous activist also speaking at our event:

Nevertheless, I want to clarify two things:
1. g0v wasn’t founded by Audrey Tang. It was founded by several people in 2012. She has indeed actively participated as a contributor from the beginning. As far as I recall, she never labels herself as the single founder of g0v.
2. The Occupation of Legislative Yuan was in 2014.

我們將會邀請全台灣所有的學生組織（無論是已經有成果還是才剛起步）
用各個團隊互相交流（取暖）的方式讓大家在做專案時覺得不孤單
你們還可以在無意間的討論中獲取到你平常可能根本就接觸不到的機會
一起加入我們並且一起壯大台灣的Student Hacking生態吧!
Susa團隊正在籌劃一個讓全台各地的學生組織互相取暖的Slack（類似g0v的Slack，但主要以學生為主）
我們將會邀請全台灣所有的學生組織（無論是已經有成果還是才剛起步）
讓其他學生專案團隊用互相交流（取暖）的方式讓大家在做專案時不會覺得孤單（就是g0v）
但跟g0v最不一樣的地方在於這個社群並不只限於科技專案
也會讓一些學生自媒體（如一·六台北或高中生的循環經濟）參與其中
但是由於現在這個是社群正處於剛起步的階段（意思就是說有點荒涼）
我們現在需要一些熱心的g0ver們協助我們建立起這個社群
總之讓我們一起加入我們並且一起壯大台灣的Student Hacking生態吧!
